The incident took place in Bridgeport around 2 a.m., on Sunday, June 5 outside of Club Azul on Madison Avenue.
Albert Josue Hernandez-Martinez, age 25, was found outside the club with life-threatening stab wounds to his “torso, head, and extremities,” said. Capt. Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police.
He died later Sunday from his injuries, police said.
"The Bridgeport Police Department offers their sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Albert Josue Hernandez-Martinez," Gilleran said.
A second victim, identified as 27-year-old Carlos Richard Martinez-Lopez of Bridgeport, was taken to the hospital by private vehicle with “a deep wound/laceration to his torso,” Gilleran said.
He remains in critical condition, according to police.
The investigation remains ongoing.
